Why are we doing this?
We're constantly working towards making Tradono better and parts of that of course involves the security on the platform.
During the time TradonoPay has been available, we have gathered a lot of knowledge and feedback from our users when you've contacted us during your use of TradonoPay, or because you wanted to use it but wanted to know more beforehand.
Through the communication our support team has had when helping out in trades with TradonoPay, we've gotten a good sense of what works well, and what can be made even better. We've also experienced that TradonoPay has not been used as much as hoped.
Therefore, we've decided to put the current TradonoPay on hold in order to develop a new and better system to trade safely on Tradono.
How can I trade safely now?
It's always important to be cautious when you're trading online, whether you're trading through a safe payment method or not.
In this article we've gathered some useful tips on how to trade safely as a buyer, and in this article you can read about how to secure yourself when you're a seller.
Should you find yourself having doubts about another user, feel free to contact us at any time. You can report a conversation, a user or contact us through the "Contact support"-button at the bottom of our FAQ from your phone. You can also contact us by email or on Facebook. We will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
When will there be a new solution?
We can't say with certainty when we'll have a new safe payment method ready. The development and testing of something like this takes time, especially because we want to make sure that it works as it should before we send it out to you :-)
Is it not safe to use Tradono now?
We'll continue doing what we've been doing this far, and we'll keep helping you when you report a user, a trade or an incident by advising you according to Danish commerce law and by enforcing our own terms and conditions. However, we cannot give or force refunds, as we have no financial involvement in the trades.
We will also keep sorting through the platform to find and exclude suspicious profiles.
Therefore, please don't hesitate to contact us or report an issue or a suspicious user. We are ready on the other side of the screen to help you out to the best of our ability and it is still very important to us, that our users have good experiences trading on Tradono :-)
I have an ongoing TradonoPay deal - what do I do?
All ongoing deals with TradonoPay will be able to be completed as usual.
What will happen to my card and account information?
The information you've filled out when signing up for TradonoPay will still be in the app under My profile > Settings > Accounts and subscriptions. You can delete this information by holding your finger on the card- and/or account information you wish to remove and then pressing "delete".
As TradonoPay is only temporarily on hold, you can choose to keep your information in the app.
Remember, if you're a member of TradonoClub, you shouldn't remove your card information as you will be unsubscribed from your membership when the payment is due.
Questions and feedback for us?
If you have any further questions or feedback, please contact us in the app through the "Contact support"-button, through our Facebook-page or at support@tradono.com.
The above will become effective from January 31, 2018.
